Huawei Presents First Phase of “Illuminate Angola”
One of the key highlights of Huawei''s participation is the presentation of the results of the first phase of the “Illuminate Angola” project, which was recently completed.
During ANGOTIC 2025, which kicks off tomorrow at the Talatona Convention Center in Luanda, Huawei aims to reaffirm its role as a strategic partner in Angola's digital transformation by showcasing technological advancements with direct impact on the country's sustainable development.
Double-glass modules are characterized by increased reliability, especially for large-scale photovoltaic projects. They include better resistance to higher temperatures, humidity and UV conditions, and have better mechanical stability, reducing the risk of microcracks during installation and operation.
There has been a noteable shift from the initial single-facial single-glass modules to bifacial double-glass modules. Double-glass modules, with their performance in the face of salt mist, high temperatures and high humidity, have won the market's favour. However, this trend is not without its risks.
Mechanical robustness: The dual-glass structure offers exceptional resistance to mechanical loads, such as wind and snow, making them ideal for challenging environments. Environmental shielding: Double glass modules provide excellent defense against moisture, corrosion, and UV radiation, reducing the risk of potential-induced degradation (PID).
