A well-prepared invoice facilitates the customs clearance process and ensures transparency in the transaction. The export declaration, also known as the Single Administrative Document (SAD), is mandatory for any export from Switzerland. It must be submitted via the e-dec Export electronic system of the Swiss Federal Customs Administration.
