Designers and architects in Jakarta are making note of the advances in smart glass technology. The glass that turns opaque at the push of a button provides privacy, offers unobstructed views, and saves on energy bills – a great solution for this ever-expanding city.
Perhaps the most famous is Wisma 46, with its gracious glass exterior, which was considered ahead of its time when it was built in 1996. Designers and architects in Jakarta are making note of the advances in smart glass technology.
“Today we celebrate an extraordinary achievement, the inauguration of the largest rooftop solar power plant in Jakarta, located right at Grand Indonesia. This project will make a major contribution to energy savings and carbon-emission reductions,” Iwan said at the Jakarta ceremony.
